Arnold Burrowes was born on 2 February 1778.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Burrowes and Mary Dawkes.2,1 He died on 27 September 1779 at age 1.1

Colonel Arnold Robinson Burrowes was born in 1788.1 He was the son of Colonel Thomas Burrowes and Sarah Greenland.2,1 He married Harriet Beresford, daughter of Colonel Richard Beresford, on 4 November 1816.1 He died on 28 August 1851.1
He was educated at Oriel College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Peninsular Wars between 1808 and 1814, as Aide-de-Camp to Field-Marshal Viscount Beresford.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Fusiliers Guards.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Brantford Light Infantry.1 He emigrated to CanadaG arriving on 1834.1 He sold Benarth, Caernarvonshire in 1834.1 In 1837 he raised a regiment in the Mackenzie Rebellion.1 He lived at Strathmore, Brantford, Ontario, CanadaG.1

Harriet Beresford was born circa 1801.1 She was the daughter of Colonel Richard Beresford.1 She married Colonel Arnold Robinson Burrowes, son of Colonel Thomas Burrowes and Sarah Greenland, on 4 November 1816.1 She died on 31 March 1882.1
