Sir Thomas Hanmer, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1612.1 He was the son of Sir John Hanmer, 1st Bt. and Dorothy Trevor.2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Baker, daughter of Sir Thomas Baker, on 21 December 1631.1 He married, secondly, Susan Hervey, daughter of Sir William Hervey and Susan Jermyn, before 9 June 1655.1 He died in 1678.1
He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Hanmer [E., 1620] between 1624 and 1629.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Flintshire.1 He was cup-bearer to King Charles I.1
