Lady Diana Legge was born on 14 November 1910.2 She was the daughter of William Legge, 7th Earl of Dartmouth and Lady Ruperta Wynn-Carington.1 She married, firstly, Major Hon. John Hamilton-Russell, son of Gustavus William Hamilton-Russell, 9th Viscount Boyne and Lady Margaret Selina Lascelles, on 27 September 1937.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier Adrian Lewis Matthews, son of Major Barbran Henry Matthews, on 1 June 1946.1 She died on 25 February 1970 at age 59.1
