     Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth is the son of John Jardine of Applegirth.2 He married unknown daughter Maxwell, daughter of John Maxwell, 3rd Lord Maxwell and Agnes Stewart.1
     In 1524 he was active in the wars against the English.1

     John Jardine of Applegirth was the son of Sir Alexander Jardine of Applegirth and unknown daughter Maxwell.2 A contract for the marriage of John Jardine of Applegirth and Margaret Douglas was signed on 4 August 1543.1 He died before 1576.1
     In 1547 he was active in wars against the English.1
