     Edgar Lubbock was born on 22 February 1847.¹ He was the son of Sir John William Lubbock, 3rd Bt. and Harriet Hotham.¹ He married Amy Myddelton Peacock, daughter of Christopher Gilbert Peacock and Caroline Maria Fenton, on 26 June 1886.¹ He died on 9 September 1907 at age 60.¹
     He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He held the office of a Lieutenant of the City of London.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1907.¹

     Lt.-Col. Middleton Joseph O'Malley-Keys was born on 31 December 1882.¹ He married Jane Byrnes Malley, daughter of Edward Malley, on 18 October 1909.¹ He died on 18 February 1933 at age 50 at Trinidad^G.¹
     He was given the name of Middleton Joseph O'Malley at birth.¹ In 1916 his name was legally changed to Middleton Joseph O'Malley-Keys by Deed Poll.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Hon. William Herbert was the son of Thomas Herbert, 8th Earl of Pembroke and Margaret Sawyer.^1,2 He married Catherine Elizabeth Tewes.² He died on 31 March 1757.²
     He gained the rank of Major-General.²

     Henry George Herbert, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon was born on 3 June 1772 at Hill Street, London, England^G.² He was the son of Henry Herbert, 1st Earl of Carnarvon and Lady Elizabeth Alicia Maria Wyndham.³ He was baptised on 22 June 1772 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.² He married Elizabeth Kitty Acland, daughter of Colonel John Dyke Acland and Lady Christian Henrietta Caroline Fox-Strangways, on 26 April 1796 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.⁴ He died on 16 April 1833 at age 60 at Grosvenor Square, London, England^G.⁴ He was buried at Burghclere, Hampshire, England^G.⁴ His will was proven (by probate) in July 1833.⁴
     He was educated between 1782 and 1789 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Cricklade between 1794 and 1811.⁶ He was styled as Lord Porchester between 1794 and 1811.² He held the office of High Steward of Newbury.² He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of The Town and County of Carnarvon [G.B., 1793] in June 1811.⁶ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Porchester of Highclere, co.      Elizabeth Kitty Acland was born on 13 December 1772.³ She was the daughter of Colonel John Dyke Acland and Lady Christian Henrietta Caroline Fox-Strangways.¹ She married Henry George Herbert, 2nd Earl of Carnarvon, son of Henry Herbert, 1st Earl of Carnarvon and Lady Elizabeth Alicia Maria Wyndham, on 26 April 1796 at St. George's Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.³ She died on 5 March 1813 at age 40 at Shooters Hill, England^G.³
     Her married name became Herbert. After her marriage, Elizabeth Kitty Acland was styled as Countess of Carnarvon in June 1811.

     Colonel John Dyke Acland was born on 18 February 1746.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 3rd/7th Bt. and Elizabeth Dyke.¹ He married Lady Christian Henrietta Caroline Fox-Strangways, daughter of Stephen Fox-Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester and Elizabeth Horner, on 3 June 1770 at Redlynch Park, Somerset, England^G.^1,3 He died on 31 October 1778 at age 32 at Pixton Park, Somerset, England^G.^1,4
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Callington in 1774.² He gained the rank of Ensign on 23 March 1774 in the 33rd Foot.² He gained the rank of Colonel circa 1775 in the Devon Militia.^1,2 He gained the rank of Major in December 1775 in the 20th Foot.^1,2 He fought in the Expedition of General Burgoyne, where he was seriously wounded in Canada.⁵ He lived at Pixton^G.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.²
     

     Lady Christian Henrietta Caroline Fox-Strangways was born on 3 January 1749/50.^2,3 She was the daughter of Stephen Fox-Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester and Elizabeth Horner.^1,4 She married Colonel John Dyke Acland, son of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland, 3rd/7th Bt. and Elizabeth Dyke, on 3 June 1770 at Redlynch Park, Somerset, England^G.^1,3 She died on 21 July 1815 at age 65 at Tetton, Somerset, England^G.^1,3 She was buried on 28 July 1815 at Broadclyst, Devon, England^G.³
     She was also known as Harriet.² Her married name became Acland. In 1776 she accompanied her husband to Canada, where she underwent many terrible hardships.² She has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.³
     

     Stephen Fox-Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester was born on 12 September 1704.³ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Stephen Fox and Christiana Hope.¹ He married Elizabeth Horner, daughter of Thomas Strangways-Horner and Susannah Strangways, on 15 March 1735/36.³ He died on 29 September 1776 at age 72.³
     He was given the name of Stephen Fox at birth.³ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.³ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Shaftesbury between 1726 and 1734.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Hindon from 1734 to 1735.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Shaftesbury between 1735 and 1741.³ He held the office of Joint Secretary of the Treasury between 1739 and 1741.³ He was created 1st Lord Ilchester, co. Somerset, Baron of Woodford Strangways, co. Dorset [Great Britain] on 11 May 1741, with special remainder to his brother Henry.³ He was created 1st Lord Ilchester and Stavordale, Baron of Redlynch, co.      Elizabeth Horner is the daughter of Thomas Strangways-Horner and Susannah Strangways.² She married Stephen Fox-Strangways, 1st Earl of Ilchester, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Stephen Fox and Christiana Hope, on 15 March 1735/36.¹
     From 15 March 1735/36, her married name became Fox. After her marriage, Elizabeth Horner was styled as Countess of Ilchester on 17 June 1756. From February 1758, her married name became Fox-Strangways.¹
