     Doris Margaret Tomlinson is the daughter of George Frederick Tomlinson.1 She married Robert Edward de Vere Capell, 10th Earl of Essex, son of Arthur Algernon de Vere Capell and Alice Mabel Currie, on 3 January 1942.1
     From 3 January 1942, her married name became Capell.1 After her marriage, Doris Margaret Tomlinson was styled as Countess of Essex on 18 May 1981.

     From circa 1509, her married name became Paulet.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Capell was styled as Countess of Wiltshire on 9 March 1538/39. After her marriage, Elizabeth Capell was styled as Baroness St. John on 9 March 1538/39. After her marriage, Elizabeth Capell was styled as Marchioness of Winchester on 11 October 1551.
