     John Rous, 1st Earl of Stradbroke was born on 30 May 1750.² He was the son of Sir John Rous, 5th Bt. and Judith Bedingfeld.² He married, firstly, Frances Juliana Warter-Wilson, daughter of Edward Warter-Wilson and Hon. Frances Anne Evans, on 26 January 1788 at Yoxford, Suffolk, England^G.³ He married, secondly, Charlotte Maria Whittaker, daughter of Abraham Whittaker and Penelope Tempest, on 23 February 1792 at 11 Manchester Square, London, England^G.³ He died on 27 August 1827 at age 77.²
     He was educated at Westminster School, Westminster, London, England.² He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Rous, of Henham Hall [E., 1660] on 31 October 1771.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Suffolk between 1780 and 1796.² He was created 1st Earl of Stradbroke, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 18 July 1821.² He was created 1st Viscount Dunwich, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 18 July 1821.² He was created 1st Baron Rous of Dennington, co. Suffolk [Great Britain] on 18 July 1821.²

     Maria Elizabeth Tollemache was born on 27 October 1809.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Charles Tollemache and Gertrude Florinda Gardiner.¹ She married Charles Brudenell-Bruce, 1st Marquess of Ailesbury, son of Thomas Brudenell-Bruce, 1st Earl of Ailesbury and Susanna Hoare, on 20 August 1833 at Ham House, Petersham, Surrey, England^G.¹ She died on 7 May 1893 at age 83.¹ She was buried at Petersham, Surrey, England^G.¹ Her will was proven (by probate), at £74,920.¹
     From 20 August 1833, her married name became Brudenell-Bruce. After her marriage, Maria Elizabeth Tollemache was styled as Marchioness of Ailesbury on 20 August 1833. Her last will was dated 24 July 1891.

     Hon. Charles Tollemache was born on 2 January 1775.² He was the son of John Manners and Louisa Tollemache, Countess of Dysart.¹ He married, firstly, Frances Hay, daughter of Major William Hay and Lady Catherine Hay, on 4 August 1797 at St. George's, Hanover Square, London, England.^2,3 He married, secondly, Gertrude Florinda Gardiner, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Neville Gardiner and Harriet Wrottesley, on 8 August 1803 at St. George's, Hanover Square, London, England.^2,3 He died on 26 July 1850 at age 75 at Eaton Place, London, England.^2,4
     He was given the name of Charles Manners at birth.⁵ On 6 April 1821 his name was legally changed to Charles Tollemache by Royal Licence.³ He lived at Harrington, Northamptonshire, England^G.²

     Rt. Hon. Lord Charles William Brudenell-Bruce was born on 18 June 1834.¹ He was the son of Charles Brudenell-Bruce, 1st Marquess of Ailesbury and Maria Elizabeth Tollemache.¹ He married Augusta Georgiana Sophia Seymour, daughter of Frederick Charles William Seymour and Lady Augusta Hervey, on 2 February 1860.¹ He died on 16 April 1897 at age 62, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 1st Life Guards.¹ He gained the rank of honorary Major in the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for North Wiltshire between 1865 and 1874.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Marlborough between 1878 and 1885.¹ He held the office of Vice-Chamberlain of the Household to HM Queen Victoria between 1880 and 1885.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹

     Augusta Georgiana Sophia Seymour was the daughter of Frederick Charles William Seymour and Lady Augusta Hervey.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Lord Charles William Brudenell-Bruce, son of Charles Brudenell-Bruce, 1st Marquess of Ailesbury and Maria Elizabeth Tollemache, on 2 February 1860.¹ She died on 10 February 1901, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Brudenell-Bruce.

     Francis Seymour-Ingram, 2nd Marquess of Hertford was born on 12 February 1743.¹ He was the son of Francis Seymour-Conway, 1st Marquess of Hertford and Lady Isabella Fitzroy.¹ He married, firstly, Hon. Alice Elizabeth Windsor, daughter of Herbert Hickman-Windsor, 2nd Viscount Windsor of Blackcastle and Alice Clavering, on 4 February 1768 at London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Isabella Anne Ingram-Shepheard, daughter of Charles Ingram, 9th Viscount Irvine and Frances Shepheard, on 20 May 1776 at London, England^G.¹ He died on 28 June 1822 at age 79 at London, England^G.¹

     John Horsley-Beresford, 2nd Baron Decies was born on 20 January 1773.² He was the son of William Beresford, 1st Baron Decies and Elizabeth FitzGibbon.³ He married Charlotte Philadelphia Horsley, daughter of Robert Horsley, on 26 July 1810.² He died on 1 March 1865 at age 92.²
     He was given the name of John Beresford at birth.² He was educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² Circa July 1810 his name was legally changed to John Horsley-Beresford. He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Decies, of Decies, co. Waterford [I., 1812] on 6 September 1819.³

     Robert Edmund Brudenell was born on 12 August 1956.¹ He is the son of Edmund Crispin Stephen James George Brudenell and Hon. Marian Cynthia Manningham-Buller.¹ He married Charlotte Louisa Farquharson, daughter of Robert Alexander Farquharson and Joan Elizabeth Mallet, on 9 May 1998.²
     He was educated at Stanbridge Earls School, Romsey, Hampshire, England^G.¹
