     Lt.-Col. W. D. Macdonald was the son of Captain Hon. Panmure Macdonald.1 He married Emma Anne Elizabeth Lindsay, daughter of Colin Lindsay and Emma Watson, on 30 August 1860.1 He died in 1862.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 93rd Highlanders.1

Caroline Frances Lindsay1

     Caroline Frances Lindsay was the daughter of Venerable Charles Lindsay and Anne Rowley.1 She married George Dawson Rowley, son of George William Rowley and Jane Catherine Maine, on 30 October 1849.1 She died on 3 January 1900.1
     Her married name became Rowley.

     George Dawson Rowley was born on 3 May 1822 at London, England.2 He was the son of George William Rowley and Jane Catherine Maine.2 He married Caroline Frances Lindsay, daughter of Venerable Charles Lindsay and Anne Rowley, on 30 October 1849.1 He died on 21 November 1878 at age 56.1
     He wrote the book Ornithological Miscellany.2

     Juliet Mary Lindsay was born on 27 January 1904.1 She was the daughter of Major David Balcarres Lindsay and Grace Maud Miller.1 She married, firstly, John Charles de la Poer Beresford, 7th Marquess of Waterford, son of Henry de la Poer Beresford, 6th Marquess of Waterford and Lady Beatrix Frances Petty-FitzMaurice, on 14 October 1930.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. John Eric Durford Silcock, son of Charles Silcock, on 17 December 1946.1 She died in 1987.1
     After her marriage, Juliet Mary Lindsay was styled as Marchioness of Waterford on 14 October 1930. From 14 October 1930, her married name became Beresford. From 17 December 1946, her married name became Silcock.

     John Charles de la Poer Beresford, 7th Marquess of Waterford was born on 6 January 1901.1 He was the son of Henry de la Poer Beresford, 6th Marquess of Waterford and Lady Beatrix Frances Petty-FitzMaurice.3 He married Juliet Mary Lindsay, daughter of Major David Balcarres Lindsay and Grace Maud Miller, on 14 October 1930.3 He died on 25 September 1934 at age 33 at Curraghmore, Portlaw, County Waterford, Ireland, killed in a shooting accident in the gun-room.1,2
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Tyrone [I., 1746] on 1 December 1911.3 He succeeded as the 7th Baron Tyrone, of Haverfordwest, co. Pembroke [G.B., 1786] on 1 December 1911.3 He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Beresford, of Coleraine, co.
