Brig.-Gen. Frank Anstie Buzzard was born on 9 November 1875.1 He was the son of Thomas Buzzard and Isabel Wass.2 He married Joan Collier, daughter of Hon. John Collier and Ethel Huxley, on 2 August 1911.1 He died on 28 February 1950 at age 74.1
He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Artillery.1 He was awarded the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1917 and bar (1919.)1

Hon. John Collier was born on 27 January 1850.2 He was the son of Robert Porrett Collier, 1st Baron Monkswell of Monkswell and Isabella Rose Rose.2,3 He married, firstly, Marian Huxley, daughter of Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Huxley and Henrietta Anne Heathorn, on 30 June 1879.3 He married, secondly, Ethel Huxley, daughter of Rt. Hon. Thomas Henry Huxley and Henrietta Anne Heathorn, on 1 April 1889 at NorwayG.3 He died on 11 April 1934 at age 84.2
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He was a portrait painter.2 In 1907 his overseas marriage to his second wife became legal in the U.K. after The Deceased Wife's Sister Act of 1907.2 He was Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1920.3

John Huxley Buzzard was born on 12 August 1912.1 He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Frank Anstie Buzzard and Joan Collier.2 He married Hilary Ann Courtney Antrobus in 1946.1 He died on 28 January 1984 at age 71.1
