     Jakob III Markgraf von Baden-Durlach in Hachberg was born on 26 March 1562 at Pforzheim, Germany.2,3 He was the son of Karl II Markgraf von Baden-Durlach and Anna von Veldenz.1,2 He married Elisabeth von Pallandt-Culemborg, daughter of Floris I Baron van Pallandt Graaf van Culemborg and Elisabeth von Manderscheid, on 6 September 1584 at Cologne, Germany.2 He died on 17 August 1590 at age 28 at Emmendingen, Germany.1,2
     He succeeded as the Markgraf von Baden-Durlach in 1577.1

     Ernst Friedrich Markgraf von Baden-Durlach was born on 17 October 1560.2 He was the son of Karl II Markgraf von Baden-Durlach and Anna von Veldenz.1 He married Anna von Ostfriesland, daughter of Edzard II Graf von Ostfriesland and Catherine Vasa, on 21 December 1585.2 He died on 14 April 1604 at age 43.1,2
     He succeeded as the Markgraf von Baden-Durlach in 1577.1

     Friedrich V Markgraf von Baden-Durlach was born on 6 July 1594 at Sulzburg, Hochschwarzwald, Germany.2 He was the son of Georg Friedrich Markgraf von Baden-Durlach.1 He married, firstly, Barbara Prinzessin von Württemberg, daughter of Friedrich I Herzog von Württemberg and Sybille Prinzessin von Anhalt-Zerbst, on 21 December 1616.2 He married, secondly, Eleonore von Solms-Laubach, daughter of Albrecht Otto I graf von Solms-Laubach and Anna von Hessen-Darmstadt, on 8 October 1617.2 He died on 8 September 1659 at age 65 at Durlach, Germany.1,2
     He succeeded as the Markgraf von Baden-Durlach in 1622.1
