     Isabella Alethea Wemyss was born on 22 February 1968.¹ She is the daughter of Andrew Michael John Wemyss and Janet Althea Scott.¹

     Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Burnett David Morier was born on 31 March 1826 at Paris, France.² He was the son of David Richard Morier.² He married Alice Peel, daughter of General Rt. Hon. Jonathan Peel and Lady Alicia Jane Kennedy, in 1861 at Brentford, London, England.^3,4 He died on 16 November 1893 at age 67 at Montreux, Switzerland.²
     He was educated at Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.² He held the office of Minister to Portugal between 1876 and 1881.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ He held the office of Minister to Spain between 1881 and 1884.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in October 1882.² He held the office of Ambassador to Russia between 1884 and 1893.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.) in February 1886.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.)¹

     Major James Wemyss was born on 11 January 1807.¹ He was the son of James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield.¹ He married Helen Reilly, daughter of James Reilly.¹ He died on 27 June 1865 at age 58.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Bengal Army.²

     General William Binfield Wemyss was born on 15 February 1810.¹ He was the son of James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield.¹ He married Martha Rose Diana Smith, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Samuel Smith, on 24 March 1832 at Neemuch, Bengal, India.^1,2 He died on 24 May 1890 at age 80.¹
     He gained the rank of General in the 9th Bengal Light Cavalry.¹

     Martha Rose Diana Smith was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Samuel Smith. She married General William Binfield Wemyss, son of James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield, on 24 March 1832 at Neemuch, Bengal, India.^1,2 She died on 23 October 1876.¹
     Her married name became Wemyss.

     Lt.-Col. Francis Wemyss was born on 18 November 1814.¹ He was the son of James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield.² He married Selina Pye, daughter of George Pye, in 1848.¹ He died in 1887.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Bengal Engineers.¹

     Selina Pye was the daughter of George Pye.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Francis Wemyss, son of James Wemyss and Caroline Charlotte Binfield, in 1848.² She died on 6 October 1910.²
     Her married name became Wemyss.

     Elizabeth Margaret Wemyss was the daughter of Hon. James Wemyss of Wemyss and Lady Elizabeth Sutherland.^2,3 She married Alexander Brodie, son of James Brodie and Emilia Brodie, on 16 August 1793.³ She died on 19 July 1800.¹
     Her married name became Brodie.

     Alexander Brodie was born in 1748.² He was the son of James Brodie and Emilia Brodie.² He married Elizabeth Margaret Wemyss, daughter of Hon. James Wemyss of Wemyss and Lady Elizabeth Sutherland, on 16 August 1793.² He died in 1818.²
     He lived at Arnhall, Kincardineshire, Scotland^G.¹
