     Frederick Cavendish was the son of Lord Charles Cavendish and Lady Ann Grey.¹

     Henry Cavendish was born on 10 October 1731. He was the son of Lord Charles Cavendish and Lady Ann Grey.¹ He died on 10 March 1810 at age 78, unmarried.
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.)¹ He was a chemist and philosopher.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.²
     

     Frederick John Howard was born on 1 March 1814.¹ He was the son of Major Hon. Frederick Howard and Frances Susan Lambton.² He married Lady Fanny Cavendish, daughter of Hon. William Cavendish and Hon. Louisa O'Callaghan, on 1 July 1837.¹ He died on 28 February 1897 at age 82.
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Youghal between 1837 and 1841.¹ He was Private Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland (his cousin, 7th Earl of Carlisle.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Sussex.¹

     Major Hon. Frederick Howard was born on 6 December 1785.¹ He was the son of Frederick Howard, 5th Earl of Carlisle and Lady Margaret Caroline Leveson-Gower.² He married Frances Susan Lambton, daughter of William Henry Lambton and Lady Anne Barbara Frances Villiers, on 6 August 1811.¹ He died on 18 June 1815 at age 29 at Waterloo, Belgium^G, killed in action.
     He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars.¹ He fought in the Battle of Waterloo on 18 June 1815.

     Lady Emily Augusta Lambton was the daughter of John George Lambton, 1st Earl of Durham and Lady Louisa Elizabeth Grey.¹ She married Lt.-Col. William Henry Frederick Cavendish, son of General Hon. Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish and Sarah Fawkener, on 19 August 1843.¹ She died on 2 November 1886.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish.

     John George Lambton, 1st Earl of Durham was born on 12 April 1792 at London, England^G.¹ He was the son of William Henry Lambton and Lady Anne Barbara Frances Villiers.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Harriet Cholmondeley, daughter of George James Cholmondeley, 1st Marquess of Cholmondeley and unknown Saint Albans, on 1 January 1812.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Louisa Elizabeth Grey, daughter of Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey and Hon. Mary Elizabeth Ponsonby, on 9 December 1816.¹ He died on 28 July 1840 at age 48.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Lord Privy Seal between 1803 and 1803.¹ He gained the rank of officer between 1809 and 1811 in the 10th Dragoons.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      Captain Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish was born on 6 May 1854.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Henry Frederick Cavendish and Lady Emily Augusta Lambton.¹ He married Lady Harriet Castalia Godolphin Osborne, daughter of George Godolphin Osborne, 9th Duke of Leeds and Hon. Frances Georgiana Pitt-Rivers, on 10 July 1888.¹ He died on 21 January 1928 at age 73.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Derbyshire.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy (emergency list.)¹

     George Godolphin Osborne, 9th Duke of Leeds was born on 11 August 1828 at Paris, France^G.¹ He was the son of George Godolphin Osborne, 8th Duke of Leeds and Harriet Emma Arundel Stewart.¹ He married Hon. Frances Georgiana Pitt-Rivers, daughter of George Pitt-Rivers, 4th Baron Rivers of Sudeley Castle and Lady Susan Georgiana Leveson-Gower, on 16 January 1861.¹ He died on 23 December 1895 at age 67.¹
     He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Oseborne of Dunblane [S., 1673] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Godolphin, of Farnham Royal, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1832] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Osborne, of Kiveton, co. York [E., 1620] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Marquess of Carmarthen [E., 1689] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Duke of Leeds [E., 1694] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Danby, co. York [E., 1674] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Osborne of Kiveton, co. York [E., 1673] on 8 August 1872.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Latimer of Danby, co.      Lady Harriet Castalia Godolphin Osborne was born on 28 July 1867. She was the daughter of George Godolphin Osborne, 9th Duke of Leeds and Hon. Frances Georgiana Pitt-Rivers.¹ She married Captain Henry Frederick Compton Cavendish, son of Lt.-Col. William Henry Frederick Cavendish and Lady Emily Augusta Lambton, on 10 July 1888.¹ She died on 16 June 1922 at age 54.¹
     Her married name became Cavendish.

     Major Cecil Charles Cavendish was born on 14 May 1855.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Henry Frederick Cavendish and Lady Emily Augusta Lambton.¹ He married Maud Henrietta Halliday, daughter of Lt.-Gen. George Thomas Halliday and Marianne Bishop, on 4 March 1890.¹ He died on 21 January 1931 at age 75.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 2nd Battalion, Highland Light Infantry.¹
