Ulrich III Nestor Herzog von Mecklenburg-Güstrow was born on 21 April 1527. He was the son of Albrecht VII Herzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Anne von Hohenzollern. He married Elizabeth Oldenburg, Princess of Denmark, daughter of Frederik I Oldenburg, King of Denmark and Prinzessin Sophie von Pommern-Wolgast, on 16 February 1556.2 He died on 14 March 1603 at age 75.
