🚀 Flyability Goes to #Botswana! 🚀 We are thrilled to announce that Flyability, a Swiss pioneer in #drone technology, will be in Gaborone, Botswana on 14 November 2024 with the groundbreaking Elios 3. Flyability is a Swiss company with one aim: for no more humans to be doing dangerous jobs. With that in mind, they have designed the innovative Elios 3 drone. This drone is capable of flying in confined spaces and complex environments, from underground mines to inside warehouses. Carrying both a 4K camera and centimeter-accurate LiDAR sensor, the Elios 3 flies within a protective cage that makes it collision tolerant as it captures critical data used for surveying, inspecting, and mapping. Used by hundreds of companies worldwide, the Elios 3 is synonymous with safety, innovation, and savings. For companies in the mining sector active in Botswana interested in exploring this cutting-edge technology, reach out to the Swiss Business Hub Southern Africa to learn more! #SwissInnovation #Flyability #Mining #Botswana #DroneTechnology #Safety Stéphanie Labité Inga Khchoyan Jan-Albert Viljoen Bastien Bovy

Yesterday's launch of the National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA) at Eskom’s Megawatt Park head office marked a key step in unbundling NTCSA as a subsidiary of Eskom. The Department of Electricity and Energy is drafting regulations to guide private sector investment in transmission lines, with a pilot round expected early next year, addressing key questions about the R1.5 trillion transmission development required by 2032 and the procurement programme's structure. #southafrica #energy #transmission #infrastructure #renewableenergy #ipt https://lnkd.in/dcbP2YMT Stéphanie Labité Simone Malz Coetzer Nicklas Müller Luca Degiovannini Mehmet Yildirimli Bastien Bovy Patrick Walser
