We are thrilled to announce the successful graduation of the Class of 2024 from Flipper International School. This milestone marks the second batch of graduates from our esteemed institution. The graduation ceremony took place on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the prestigious Haile Grand Hotel in Addis Ababa, a fitting venue for such a momentous occasion. The ceremony was graced by the presence of proud parents, dedicated teachers and management members, and honored guests who gathered to celebrate the achievements of our ten outstanding graduates. The atmosphere was filled with joy, pride, and a sense of accomplishment as each student walked across the stage to receive their diploma, symbolizing the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. In his keynote address, our General Manager, Mr. Getaneh Asfaw, highlighted the significance of this milestone, not only for the students but also for the entire Flipper International School community. He praised the graduates for their resilience, adaptability, and academic excellence, qualities that will undoubtedly serve them well in their future endeavors. He congratulate the graduates for their full and partial scholarship grants in the US and Europe.  The event also featured inspiring speeches from the honored speakers, Mrs. Wogayehu Debele (FIS Summit Branch Principal), Mr. Yonathan Goitom (FIS PTSA Chair Person, Entrepreneur and MBA holder in International Finance), Dr. Wodajeneh Meharene (Medical Doctor, Psychologist and Theologian) and PHD Candidate Mr. Rajif Mulatu (PHD Candidate, IGCSE, AS & A level Chemistry and Physics Teacher) to honor our top graduates. Students shared their heart-felt speeches and reflected on their journey at Flipper International School and expressed gratitude to their families, teachers, school management and peers for their continual support. Their words were a testament to the strong bonds and sense of community that define our school. As these remarkable young individuals embark on the next chapter of their lives, we are confident that they are well prepared to meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Their time at Flipper International School has equipped them with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary to make a positive impact on the world. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2024 and wish them all the best in their future endeavors. May they continue to shine brightly and make us all proud!
