His impact endures through his work in #humanrights law & the Embassy’s Kader Asmal Fellowship which has provided opportunities for 120+ South Africans to pursue MA Degrees in Ireland. “2024 marks 30 years of the 🇮🇪Embassy in 🇿🇦. Ireland refused diplomatic relations with the apartheid government, & our embassy in Pretoria only opened in 1994.
