As we pay homage and celebrate the remarkable sacrifices made by our heroes and heroines for our freedom, we reflect on their bravery and tenacious spirit and how they envisioned and fought for a different future for South Africa. Their courage inspires us to step up and unlock greatness in everything we do at CCBSA. We commemorate Heritage Day on 24 September to remind ourselves that, just like those before us, we too can rise and create a lasting impact and legacy. Together, let’s continue unlocking greatness and building on the legacy of those who came before us to help shape a brighter, more inclusive society. #HeritageDay #OurHeroes #SteppingUp #UnlockingGreatness #OneTeam

About us
Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is a proudly South African company which began operating as a legal entity in July 2016, after the merger of six non-alcoholic ready to drink bottling operations. We are a level 3 B-BBEE empowered company. We employ over 7000 people at 13 manufacturing facilities across the country. As a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) and a bottler for The Coca-Cola Company, our vision is to refresh Africa every day and make our continent a better place for all. We manufacture and distribute Coca-Cola beverages that make life’s everyday moments more enjoyable, while doing business the right way. The result is shared opportunity for our customers, our employees, our communities, and our shareholders. We conduct our business ethically, transparently and conscientiously. We espouse an inclusive business culture to reflect our African identity. We accelerate sustainable, profitable revenue growth across all categories and offer an innovative portfolio of products that respond to customer needs and consumer preferences. Profitability is important, but not at any cost. People matter. Our planet matters. We do business the right way by following our values and partnering for solutions that benefit us all.

We are excited to share that John Ustas, our former Managing Director, recently visited our various regions to provide his knowledge and insights on how we can make improvements in our operations, including our supply chain and manufacturing and other core areas of our business to enhance our capabilities, promote continuous learning, and drive profitable growth. Hosted by our MD, Rakesh Rajbally, John’s visits have been a significant opportunity for robust engagement and mentorship, and he has used the platform to share his extensive expertise in how we can drive innovation and roll out our strategic initiatives. Additionally, his visits also provided an opportunity for him to share his experience with our leaders, and discuss the importance of collaboration and alignment towards a vision that will ensure we achieve our strategic objectives. Our leadership recently hosted a business session in Sun City under the theme “Partners in Action”, where they engaged deeply with our Wholesaler partners. Our new Managing Director, Rakesh Rajbally led the session, the focus was clear: building and maintaining robust relationships and strengthening partnerships. At CCBSA, we understand that partnerships aren't just about transactions; they're about shared growth and mutual trust. Being 'customer obsessed' isn't a buzzword; it's a core philosophy that guides our every decision. It means listening intently to our customers, anticipating their needs, and delivering solutions that exceed expectations. As we look ahead, let's continue embodying this spirit of collaboration and customer-centricity in all facets of our business. By doing so, we not only enhance customer satisfaction but also drive innovation and sustainable growth. Rakesh’s expertise spans across general management, sales, marketing, logistics and finance within the FMCG industry. He has successfully led CCBSA’s commercial business unit and played a critical role in advancing and leading strategic growth initiatives across the business.
