Many leaders struggle with team engagement and performance. Consider this fact about CliftonStrengths: When predicting both engagement and performance, a team's awareness of their strengths is more important than the specific composition of those strengths. In other words -- just knowing your strengths, as well as the strengths of your partners, leads to higher engagement and performance. #CliftonStrengths #Teams #Engagement #Performance

#HowToDevelopYourStrengths This is a question that I have heard so many times over the last 20 years since I started using #CliftonStrengths (formerly known as StrengthsFinder) as a tool. And my response is always: "Don't guess, confirm." And this is exactly what the #CliftonStrengths assessment does. It's a scientific developmental tool that discovers your innate talents, and what you are great at, so you can answer the question: "What will it look like if I focus on what is right with me?". #Gallup recommends four steps: 1. Complete the CliftonStrengths assessment (to see a sample report, type YES in the comments) 2. Identify areas that you want to improve. Do you want to improve how you execute your tasks? How you relate and build relationships with others? How you influence, or the contribution you make with information and in situations? 3. Use your report and the information in your #Gallup portal to determine which talents you can best use to reach your goal (if you need help, talk with a Gallup Global Strengths Coach). 4. Once you have matched the talents to your goal, add experiences and knowledge to create your goal. This guide is useful if you want to explore this further. https://lnkd.in/ehbWwxKq

Melinah said, after attending this workshop: "The skills you have shared to build my self-confidence and to believe in myself was so valuable. I don't cringe that much anymore when I think of some mistakes i have done, and I take them as a lesson in my journey of self-improvement. I am slowly beating my fear of public speaking, self-judgement, and condemnation."
