What type of music do they play during brunch on both Saturday and Sunday?

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday, and unfortunately, the service was slow, even though my party only ordered drinks. The most disappointing part of my experience was how difficult it was to order a mocktail. There were no mocktails on the menu, and the waitress eventually told me, "Pick something, and I'll get the bartender to make it alcohol-free." I tried this with two different drinks, but the bartender said he couldn't make them. I'd definitely skip this location next time I'm in NYC.

One BIG positive was the DJ was amazing!!!

Great Vibes and Tasty Bites at Row House

I met up with a date who was hungry, and although I wasn't that hungry myself, I decided to join him for dinner at Row House. It was my first time here, and I'm glad I got to experience it!

I kept it light and ordered the fish tacos from the appetizers, while my date went for the roast beef sandwich. The food was good, and both of us were content with our choices. The fish tacos had a nice flavor, and the roast beef sandwich looked hearty and satisfying.

What really stood out was the atmosphere. There was an African music-themed party going on, and the place was packed! The vibes were energetic and fun, adding a unique touch to our dining experience.

The only downside was the service, which was a bit slow. Our waitress seemed to be serving too many tables at once, but she was incredibly sweet and polite despite the lack of attention.

Overall, I enjoyed my time at Row House and would definitely come back for the food and the lively ambiance!

I'm a Brooklyn girl through and through but every now and then a trip to Harlem is the change of pace I need to enjoy some good eats and partake in the vibrant nightlife. Row House checked all the boxes for a meet up with a group of friends, most of whom lived Uptown. I'm glad to have finally checked this one off of the list as it had been bookmarked for a while. The restaurant is spacious with a nice-sized bar that could be a solid option for those who prefer to dine or drink more casually. There were also lots of formal seating options to accommodate various sized parties. Given the restaurant was relatively full when we arrived it didn't feel crowded at all. Loved that we had adequate space to move around. It took a few minutes to get us seated and then took some time for a server to come to our table. She was really sweet and gave great suggestions though we did have to get her attention numerous times to re-up on drinks or get items we needed for the table.

Our group of 5 ordered several appetizers - lobster mac and classic mac, lobster empanadas, potato skins, parm meatballs & wings. Nothing disappointed, with the lobster mac and empanadas being the favorite of the table. Portions were plenty and we ended up taking food home. Do yourself a favor and get the Henny punch! Well balanced, packed a punch but not overwhelmingly strong or sweet. We enjoyed a few rounds.

When the food was cleared from our table our server came over with the bill which we didn't ask for at the time. I suppose she assumed we were done since we asked for to-go containers. We ended up ordering another round of drinks.

To our surprise a live DJ came on at 8pm and what was already a cool ambiance got bumped up a few notches. She came thru with hit after hit. One of my friends got up to engage in a little two-step with someone at an adjacent table! There was a book signing happening while we were there. The author was cool. He chatted up our group for a few mins and gifted us with a complimentary copy of his book.

Row House definitely made for a great night - solid eats, great company and excellent vibes. Seems like a spot with a few regulars, had a warm and welcoming vibe with friendly patrons. I'd most definitely take the trek back to Harlem - maybe for brunch next time :)

The best part of this restaurant was the music. The DJ was turning out hit after hit, mostly blasts from the past. I definitely had a good time dancing in my seat.

I ordered the short rib rigatoni mac & cheese and deviled eggs. The mac & cheese came out warm and cheesy, had a great flavor, but the short rib had a lot of fatty parts that I couldn't chew down. Now, the deviled eggs! The beet brined deviled eggs were absolutely delicious, topped with crispy shallots which added a nice texture.

The service was pretty efficient, no complaints. We had a reservation for 1:30 pm on a Saturday which I would say is an ideal time if you want to avoid a big crowd. If I came back, it would definitely be for the music..and the deviled eggs.

You can never go wrong with Row House. The vibes are immaculate, the food is consistently good, the service........they do well given how slammed they are. The Saturday day party is always a good time and the Sunday jazz brunch is a cool.

      Mimosas......of the bottomless kind

Enjoyed the meal here as well as the ambiance and live Jazz! This is a great brunch spot. The meal came with a drink you can choose including mimosas and sangrias.

I ordered the crab cake eggs Benedict. It was delicious! It also came with potatoes and a small salad. The potatoes were well seasoned with onions and peppers. Really enjoyed them!

My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and noted that there were only 3 shrimp, but seemed to enjoy her meal overall. She also had a salad as an appetizer.

Really had a great time here and will keep this place in mind for brunch in Harlem!

I went to Row House on Friday. The food and drinks were good. I had The Berry Breeze and the Amelia for drinks. My friend and I decided to order a bunch of appetizers. We started off with the fish tacos, regular fries, Asian bbq wings and the lobster empanadas. OMG the lobster empanadas were my favorite so much I ordered them again. The wings were cooked perfectly and with the right amount of sauce. I enjoyed them. My friend loved the fish tacos. The fries were good too. They weren't greasy or overcooked, but just right. We also had the jerk shrimp tacos which had a little heat. We couldn't choose between the three different mac and cheese so we got the Mac & Cheese Trio. I like the regular and lobster mac and cheese. The short rib rigatoni wasn't bad just had some heat to it. Not only was the food good but Alley the waitress was great. She checked in on us to make sure we were good and paid attention to our order and gave great customer service. Super sweet and a pleasure to have her as my waitress. Great service all around. I forgot to mentioned there was a live DJ playing the latest and greatest hits ever. He had the place jamming. Having a live DJ elevated the place and makes the experience at the restaurant worth coming to. I plan to be back again.

Row House is a great little comfort food spot. I had dropped into this place once before for drinks with a friends and decided to check out the food during my visit this last Friday.

Made a last minute reservation for my friend and I for dinner and I definitely was not disappointed.

Everything was great from the service to the food.

My friend and I decided to share some of the appetizers on the menu:

      - deviled eggs (really great flavor and I loved that the eggs were beet brined)

      - fried okra (these were good but not the best, more batter would have made them great)

      - Mac and cheese (total show stopper! So creamy and delicious)

      - hand cut fries (the fries are a must! Super crispy just how I like them)

      - mashed potatoes (smooth and delicious, and everything you want out of mashed potatoes)

The server was on point and constantly checked in and refilled the water glasses when they were running low.

I love the vibe of this place, the only warning I would give is that when I was there they had a DJ which made it very hard to hear and to have a conversation (this may just be a Friday thing)

Would definitely come back to Row House as there are a few other items on the menu I would love to try!

Such a gem in Harlem! I came here for brunch and dinner on two separate occasions and I have not been disappointed. My dinner is still memorable! We had the Asian BBQ wings, trio Mac-n-cheese and bacon Brussel sprouts and they were all so delicious! Out of the Mac n cheese trio, I preferred the original but, my date was a big truffle fan and really enjoyed the truffle Mac-n-cheese. The restaurant is dim lit and has a great vibe to it. The Sunday brunch has a great live band that plays all the classics and sets such a nice mood to the joint. I will definitely be a repeat customer and really have a great time each time I go.
