I wasn't here for the beer. Maybe that will add another star. But it's darn good as a place to eat and hang out.
I came for Mordisco, the food truck out front. It was great, and I got Thai tea at the coffee shop inside. Odd to be inside a brewery in the morning, and to see it so packed then. But it's a good use of the space; when those places close the beer starts flowing, and you're not wasting all this awesomeness. Picnic tables inside, lots of windows, a nice atmosphere to hang out in. Tables with umbrellas outside, great on a nice day. Unfortunately I was there early enough that they didn't block the blazing sun, and I thought about eating inside. The main area is nice enough. There were also tables set up in the brewery area itself, and that was tempting just because it was quieter, less busy. But there is also a tiny outdoor dining area between the two, past the bathrooms. A table with umbrella, a couple of camp chairs, shade, a nice breeze, and peace and quiet. Perfect for a late breakfast.
Lots of parking, though it was packed at 10am on a weekday with the breakfast/coffee crowd. Far enough off the beaten path to be out of Polaris traffic. I'll stop back for a flight sometime.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 10, 2024
You can stop here anytime of day since they serve coffee and beer. We've mostly stopped for beers and they usually have a food truck around since they only have some sweets you can purchase at the counter. They have multiple rooms that provide lots of seating or a private space if you wanted to reserve it.

We went to Olentangy River Brewing for breakfast, and it was so worth it. I have heard great stuff about Roosevelt Coffee, so when I heard that they opened their shop inside Olentangy River Brewing, I was super excited. Definitely recommend it!
I ordered a hot latte with blueberry scone, and it was great. Temperature and the flavor of the latte was perfect. And the scone was really moist. Tasted great.
As per the Olentangy river Brewing space, it's clean, spacious, and friendly staff. There is indoor and outdoor seating for warmer weather. There was a food truck just outside of this place, where you can purchase good like burritos and bring it in to enjoy it with your drinks.
Over all great place to come hang out with friends or just grab something to go.
Can't wait to go back and try out other drinks.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 11, 2024
Coffee and beer in one place? Say no more
Was recommended to try this place while looking for a place to study and was pleasantly surprised by it. It's a brewery, bar, and coffee shop all in one and not the kind of bar you would imagine with dark lights and a dingy interior.
It was well lit and had plenty of seating options with a lot more seats in the back area where they have brewing machines.
I got the cold brew with a shot of lavender. Coffee was okay but portion size was very big and definitely kept me fueled and hydrated. If you need even more fuel they also have snacks and oatmeal for purchase.
They also have a rotation of food trucks so you can go there for a meal as well. Overall it was not too loud and a great place to study or hang out. Saw some folks playing board games there as well! It's also a family friendly environment and would be great to enjoy the outdoor space in the warmer weather.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Feb 9, 2024
This is a very interesting concept - a neighborhood coffee shop on one side and a bar on the other side. We loved our visit here for breakfast. The parking lot was packed, but there is plenty of parking in the parking lot next door, along with street parking. There was a long line going in, but the line moved quickly, and there was adequate seating available.
We tried the hot and iced lattes, a blueberry scone, a pumpkin coffee muffin, and a M&M's cookie. Our drinks were delicious, and the baked goods were all fresh. There was also a food truck by Mordisco serving up breakfast burritos and quesadillas. We look forward to coming back here for more coffee in the future.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Aug 10, 20241 check-in
Olentangy River Brewing always seems to be packed. Which is the only downside to the spot. The worry the parking lot will be jammed full. But the brewery is worth it. They have at least a dozen tasty beers on tap, seltzer options and Roosevelt coffee if you don't feel like alcohol. They usually have a food truck too. Seating inside is a good number of long tables. Which is great because I am normally at Olentangy River Brewing for a board game meetup. They offer plenty of space for that. Including a large backroom we normally use for the meetup unless there is trivia. They also offer a good sized patio area. Also the bartenders have always been friendly and helpful when I've asked for recommendations.

I was lucky enough to get to swing by here during a stay at the Lewis Center, a five minute walk away. I was in town for a wedding and was on the hunt for some food/drink before the celebration later that evening. Olentangy River Brewing Company was awesome! It's connected to Roosevelt Coffeehouse, is so spacious on the inside, and also has plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas and orange Adirondack chairs arranged in clusters that would make you want to hang out here forever.
I came here with my husband and while he tried a flight of beers (choice of 5 beers on top with a sixth glass filled with pretzels), I got an amazing blueberry streusel muffin from a mini dessert rack by the cashier and a pumpkin spice iced coffee with oat milk from the 'Roosevelt Coffeehouse' side of things; but whether you order beer or coffee the checkout/space is one in the same.
This brewery was able to make a big space seem very cozy and I loved the community feel. You can tell folks loved stopping in around the clock for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and the staff was really nice. There's also a Mordisco food truck that sells Venezuelan food parked right outside that offers hot food, if you wanted more of a substantial meal than their selection of home-made desserts (Nicole Soto of 'My Kitchen' on Facebook), instant oatmeal, or potato chips (kettle cooked "Dirty" brand, which is so good).
This place has it all, and we were only able to stay here for a few hours, but I wish we had more time to explore this area. Olentangy has got community (run club and other community events), beers, hot food by way of food trucks, snacks to nibble on and a dual-space with Roosevelt Coffeehouse. Whether it's to study, to meet a friend for lunch or dinner, or to make a quick stop for coffee and a pastry, this is the spot to go. I would love to come back!

Easy five stars. Beer, wine and coffee in once spot. The coffee bar was even open until 8 pm on a Saturday. There is a self-serve water station too. There were two food trucks, but one closed up shortly after we arrived at 5.
We sat out on the patio with friends and had a really nice time. There is plenty of seating inside & out and very family-friendly.
Easy to find, and lots of parking.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - 30079444Dec 24, 2023
Can't beat the beers and lattes here! They have some of my most favorite seasonals, from pumpkin spice to tres leches. If you love stouts this is your place! Employees are always so sweet here, even when they are slammed! Some of the best breakfast food trucks can be found here too!

I like Olentangy, I do. You have great coffee and beer, a beautiful patio, food trucks, amazing staff.
I've come more for coffee while my son goes to kickboxing nearby.
But as it has gotten warmer, the problem with this location is apparent:
Their parking absolutely SUCKS.
I was almost blocked in because someone couldn't let me back out of a spot, so I had to pull forward, to discover that I couldn't leave that way (and it's one car width clearance). So I had to back out most of the lot. Several cars just blocked the turn around areas because - they didn't want to park on the road?
People park in the grass, block other cars, block the fire hydrants on the road - it doesn't matter.
I love that they're popular. But figure out your parking.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1Jan 4, 2019Previous reviewI dig it.
Roosevelt coffee AND beer? A large, brightly lit environment, off the beaten polaris trail?
It's far enough away from everything that makes it really stick out, so you aren't dealing with crowds - and they have a nice large area, plenty of seating, and some good beers on tap.
I haven't hit them up for coffee, yet - (I mean, I've had Roosevelt before, the girlfriend loves their mission) but I want to make the excuse to drive there before work to check out their early morning staff and see how it is!
All in all, it's a great addition to the area, and I look forward to their future beers!
