Is this business still open? Their phone line is always busy and when I try to order online, it says the business is either closed or not taking online orders right now. It’s 7pm on a Friday.

      A:

Their small takeout location is still open, not the larger restaurant.

    • Q:

Is this a good/appropriate place to get some work done (on laptop) on the weekends? Reviews look great - just wondering about working and weekend wifi! Thanks!

      A:

I think this place is super busy on weekends but since the new location is bigger than the old spot perhaps it won't be a big deal if you're there on your laptop. Perhaps try going after brunch hours to check it out.

Service and atmosphere were fantastic. The location is in a very popular area making the crowd very diverse and sophisticated. Appetizers and entree were phenomenal. One should definitely try the deeply fried calamari appetizer as you will not be disappointed. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because it is a tightly spaced environment.

Great experience! We were warmly welcomed by the host on a busy Friday night, with no reservations. We had guacamole, calamari, and sweet potato fries as appetizers. (I didn't love the calamari but everything else was delicious). We were a group of four - ordered the Salmon, Pasta Primavera, Chicken Parm, and the Gourmet Chimi with the amazing Yucca fries! As for drinks - we enjoyed a pitcher of sangria. This is a gem in Inwood with a unique atmosphere. Highly recommend. As we were leaving we were also told about the beans and vines to go spot a block away :) Can't wait!

I'm so so hesitant on going..my two dear friends whom are great Dominican old fashioned cooks raved about this place still I was very hesitant and I also come from amazing Dominican cooks..I've had a few bad experiences in my culture food and I'm also a big foodie..I gave this place a try with my two friends and I have to say from the moment we sat down Our waiter was so genuinely nice he accommodated us in every way I ordered the goat..very well done and the seasoning was so perfect and very tender..beautiful place and everyone is very friendly..definitely going back..very well done..

The food and drinks were great! I had the pasta and my boyfriend had the lamb burger.

The service on the other hand wasn't the best, we waited 10-15 minutes each time we asked for a drink refill, and for the waiters to take our orders. The fastest service was when we were trying to paying, the waitress grabbed the card and ran to charge it.

This place is small. Good selection of wine, nothing fancy. The food is served on large plates. Waiter was on point with whatever we needed. She gave us the check before we finished eating which is kind of rude but I'm guessing it's due to the limited space they have.

Came here for dinner last night with the bestie. We got the chicken sauté for an app and it wasn't good. The sauce was good but it was nothing like what chicken sauté is supposed to taste like. I got the pasta primavera with shrimp and my friend had the lobster raviol for our entrees. Very very delicious. Service was ok. Place itself is nice, perfect for dinner. They have a nice wine selection, and a few options for dessert. I would probably come back for the pasta. The menu itself is pretty creative. Most of the options on the menu are healthy. The chicken sauté was disappointing, but everything else was pretty good.

Came here for a super light dinner and chose the Gourmet Chimi sandwich with Yuca Fries. Absolutely delicious and hit the spot just right. Had it with an ice cold Original Sin Hard Cider. This place is a very small hole in the wall and has a great selection of wine, tapas as well as great food. Service was a little slow but I was in no rush. No disappointments here!
