have been trying to make an appointment since the beginning of the year with NO luck. Going to the office is another rudeness people that never have any availability for a dog to see a Vet. And they want people to adopt a pet in this stupid economy

I had to put my baby girl to sleep and they were absolutely the most compassionate and empathetic staff I have ever encountered. You are all a blessing to pet parents.

We had to put our 15 year old Yorkie Prince to sleep on 09/14/23. It was the most devastating and saddest day of our lives. We had the fortune of having Dr. Julibeth Negron Saez, who took excellent care of our baby with compassion and kindness. His passing was peaceful surrounded with love and his family. The room was prepared with his name and flowers. We miss him dearly but he is no longer in pain. We as pet owners must have the compassion to know when it's their time to ease their suffering. I cannot express enough our gratitude to this location at 161st street. Thanks again for all that you do for our fur babies.

This place is fantastic. The staff give Amazing service. I took my Cat Sandy there for a blockage in his urinary tract. When we got there they took us right away. They examined him and made a call to the main ASPCa on 92nd street. They put us in a Uber and sent us there immediately. Sandy was in a emergency state for his life. He is only 4 years old. This happened 2 years ago and my sister friend @Ebony took us to her vet in Jersey where Sandy got the best treatment. This place is very clean and they are following Covid protocol.in order to get an appointment you'll need to start calling at 7:59 then stay on the line until they pick up the line if you don't get picked up by 9 am you most likely will have to call the next day but be patient they will get you in.

These people never have an appointment available, multiple times a day in the morning I would call for an appointment and it would always be the same answer. Instead of automated voice, have a real human instead to confirm this? Cause this is ridiculous

I brought my older cat here to be euthanized and I have to say Dr. Richard's and the entire group at 161 were wonderful. Dr. Richards was so compassionate and so gentle with my Hoppy. She made this difficult process as easy as it can be. They even had a little chalk board with my cats name and flowers and a candle in the room as we put him to rest. I am profoundly grateful to have found such an amazing place with such amazing people in it. I would absolutely recommend bringing your pets here, the care is second to none. And, make a donation. This is a special place.

The ASPCA site located on 161st Bronx I can say is extra exceptional. I brought my very sick cat into this center and they were so considerate and caring, even though I knew he was dying and they made him very comfortable during and after he passed . I have never been around people who genuinely felt my pain. Thank you to the remarkable Doctors and staff at this facility .

During the pandemic, the ASPCA has distributed pet food and provided medical care for free. Great to have this veterinary center in the neighborhood. A community champion for pets and the people who love them.
