This is a great place to watch a hockey game and to spend your weekend. The building is a little small but that adds to the atmosphere of a hockey game. The student section is on the balcony virtually overhanging the ice.
The must for food is the baked potatoes located on the far side of the arena from the main entrance.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Scott S.Carmel, ME98256168Sep 23, 2012
Great place to watch Maine Hockey. Too bad that it feels like it is falling apart. GO BLUE

The sightlines can be pretty horrible, the arena feels like it's falling apart, and it's a long drive from any place you actually want to be, but hey, who cares. All around, Maine fans are probably the best in Hockey East and some of the best in college hockey in general - mostly friendly and extremely knowledgeable and supportive. I went for the first time when they were in the midst of a really bad year (2008-09) and they could still rock the house with the best of them. Worth the long trip for any college hockey fan.
An important tip would be to pay the money for good seats because you might get stuck behind a beam or something.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
