What is the World Science Festival?
The World Science Festival gathers great minds in science and the arts to produce live and digital content that allows a broad general audience to engage with scientific discoveries. Through discussions, debates, theatrical works, interactive explorations, musical performances, intimate salons, and major outdoor experiences, the festival takes science out of the laboratory and into the streets, parks, museums, galleries and premier performing arts venues of New York City and beyond.

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THE WORLD SCIENCE FESTIVAL’S LIVE EVENTS?
Tickets are only available online; more information can be found on our website.
What is the difference between the All Access General Admission and General Admission ticket?
All Access General Admission gives you entrance into ALL (7) events held at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater. General Admission tickets are purchased for (1) event at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater.
What is the difference between Premium General Admission and General Admission seating?
Premium seats are unassigned and located in the center front of the orchestra. General Admission seats are unassigned and located around Premium seats. Both sections are seated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Can I bring my child to the World Science Festival?
Programs to this year’s Festival are recommended for students at high school level and above. Younger children may attend at the parent’s discretion with the purchase of a ticket.
Can I purchase tickets in person the day of an event?
Yes. If an event is not sold out, tickets will be available for purchase at the Box Office at least 1 hour before the event. CREDIT CARD ONLY!
Can I purchase tickets in person for sold-out events?
Yes. Standby lines form at the box office for sold-out events 1 hour prior to the event start time. In the case that additional tickets become available, they are sold on a first come, first served basis. CREDIT CARD ONLY!
Will you send me my ticket by mail?
Tickets will not be mailed. Please present your digital ticket at the event for admission. Events will begin promptly at the time on your ticket.
Do you offer any student/educator discounts?
Yes. We offer a discount to our events for students in high school and above as well as educators with a valid student/employee ID. Tickets can be purchased online on our website. Please note that additional discounts are not applicable to student tickets.

Do you allow refunds or exchanges?

What are the accepted payment methods? Payments can’t be split between multiple cards.
