Yes, Jennifer Lopez is a talented dancer, singer, and actress. But ICYMI, the 53-year-old is also a mom. Jennifer had twins Emme (who performed at Superbowl 2020 alongside her!) and Max with her ex-husband Marc Anthony 14 years ago on February 22, 2008.

Now, Jennifer and her husband Ben Affleck (who has three kids of his own with ex-wife Jennifer Garner) have blended their families—and so far, it seems like things are going well. They even go on family shopping outings all together!

If you follow J.Lo on Instagram, you already know she regularly shares pictures and videos of her kids (it's basically the best Emme and Max fan account ever). And fans can expect to see even more of them over the next few years.

On the off-chance you don't keep constant tabs on Jennifer's Instagram—or more realistically, just can't get enough of the cuteness—here's everything to know about her sweet, blended fam with Ben:

1

Her twins, Emme and Max, are 14.

Max and Emme Muñiz were born back in 2008. Their dad is singer Marc Anthony, who J.Lo was married to from 2004 to 2014. The couple separated in 2011, per Hello. (Marc’s real last name is Muñiz, in case you were wondering.) Emme was born one minute before Max at 12:21 a.m.

Jennifer also said on Live with Kelly and Ryan that her teen-aged twins are “little adults” now. “They’re amazing, first of all,” she said. “They’re like little adults and they have their own lives and they have all their own ideas about the world already and they love to kind of like, show you that they know things.”

She added that she learns “so much” from them, saying that “they keep me so abreast with the world and what’s happening now and how kids are thinking. It’s a whole different thing. It’s a different world!”

Jennifer and Emme performed a duet together in mid-June, and J.Lo introduced her child using the gender neutral pronouns "they/them." Emme entered carrying a rainbow mic, per Elle.

2

Her kids are *really* musical!

The proud mama has posted multiple videos of children's musical talents. ICYMI: Emme is also a budding singer and performed at the Super Bowl halftime show like it was NBD. Aaand Max also sings.

A dressed-to-the-nines Max and Emme earned themselves all the hearts on the red carpet at the premiere of Dreamworks' Home in 2015.

Now that they're a bit older, they're less likely to make carpet appearances but they do show up to support their mom at award shows from time to time.

J.Lo calls them her 'coconuts' and has a ton of fun with them.

J.Lo loves being in the middle of a 'coconut' sandwich. Can you feel all this love?!

As a little throwback moment on IG, Jennifer shared a photos of them reading in their pajamas, and it's honestly adorable. "Miss these moments … #Cocos 🥥🥥 #LuluAndMaxi #Throwback," she captioned the post.

When Emme wrote a book (!), J.Lo was there to cheer them on. (It’s called Lord Help Me!, and it’s a prayer book.) And when Max completely crushed it as a munchkin in a production of the Wizard of Oz, you better buh-lieve J.Lo was there to film his big solo—and to share it with the world.

Ben is also dad to three kids.

Ben shares two daughters, Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, and son, Samuel, 10, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Ben doesn't have an IG currently, and he and Jennifer Garner kept their kids out of the public eye while they were together.

Still, Ben says he loves spending time with his kids, even if they don't think he's very cool (now that they're teens and everything). “Whoever you are, if you’re somebody’s parent, you’re not cool," he told UsWeekly in 2021. "That’s part of life. You realize there’s something kind of healthy about embarrassing your kids.”

Based on recent outings, it seems like Ben and Jennifer's kids get along just fine together. They've been spotted out several times, including one time over the summer when they took a cruise in Paris.

During an appearance on TODAY, Jennifer shared that meshing their lives has been quite the process. "We moved in together, the kids moved in together. It's been a really emotional transition but at the same time like all your dreams coming true," she explained. J. Lo also said it has been her best year since her kids were born.

There probably won't be more kids in the cards for Bennifer.

The two have never spoken publicly on this, but a source says more kids are not in the cards for Bennifer. “They do not want any new children—they are both past that part in their lives,” the source told Hollywood Life.

But they'll definitely have their hands full with five teens in the house.
