Dear community, I would like to suggest Haplology as a candidate for adminship today. Haplology has been active here since the project was started and has made a total of more than 1338000 edits. He has filed many valid and justified RfDs and I trust his judgement that he can delete those items by himself if he were to hold the admin tools. I believe that adminship would benefit him by leaps and bounds. He also does a lot of counter vandalism work and nominates vandalism, spam and empty items for deletion. He is a native speaker of English and an advanced speaker of Japanese. It would be good and essential if we have more Japanese administrators on this project. Furthermore, he is a honest, precise and conscientious worker. Most importantly, if he is in doubt, he would ask for advice from other experienced administrators. That is the most important trait that administrators should have. I am convinced that he would make a fine administrator. I hope others will agree with me too. - Thanks Jianhui67. I accept the nomination and I appreciate the votes of confidence from everyone who suggested I run. It's true that I have been editing since the beginning of the project, but for the first year or so I was mostly active on English Wiktionary as an administrator. It was rewarding to help but there were also tough parts and I burned out and decided to spend my time here instead. That experience left me wary of the same position, but I think that now I have a sense of the culture on this wiki and what non-controversial admin actions would be and I intend to do those and ask for help or advice for other cases. --Haplology (talk) 08:05, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

- Strong support - A strong candidate whom I've seen a lot of recently, would be a great addition to the team! :) --George (Talk · Contribs · CentralAuth · Log) 16:14, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- Strong support one incident of linking to suppress-able content shouldn't preclude this user from being an admin. They do a large amount of very useful work, and could only benefit from access to the sysop bit. Ajraddatz (talk) 18:16, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
