Worsening Drought

Far more seasonable temperatures are expected across eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas Monday with high temperatures in the 70s. Dry conditions persist with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies areawide.

Drought conditions have worsened in the past week with the persistent dry weather. Parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas are now in Extreme drought, with abnormally dry conditions now occurring for much of the area.
