Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are officially the star couple of 2022!

Between 2002 and 2004, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were a Hollywood staple couple. After meeting on set of Gigli, the actor and the singer-turned-actress had a highly publicized romance for a year and a half. 

Jennifer Lopez was married to Chris Judd at the time, but she divorced him to make her relationship with Ben Affleck official and Bennifer was born. Five months later, she was wearing a 6-carat rose gold diamond engagement ring. Despite the fact that they had made many appearances on red carpets and at other events, the couple postponed their wedding date due to the media coverage of their relationship, before breaking up in 2004.

Having remained on friendly terms, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got back together 17 years after their split. Lopez broke off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez in April 2021 and Affleck has been divorced from Jennifer Garner since 2018. The couple appeared close on a trip to Montana in the Spring of 2021. On June 14, 2021, an image of the couple exchanging a kiss at a dinner set the internet on fire. Then on July 24, 2021, the singer posted a photo for her birthday that confirmed their relationship status. It was in September of the same year that they officially made their new relationship public on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, exchanging kisses and other signs of affection. On April 9, 2022, it was announced that the couple was engaged again, 20 years after their first engagement, and they finally tied the knot this July 17. Congratulations!
