Come see the Viking Cruise Ship as she makes her stop on the shores of the Mississippi River in Saint Paul! Join us as we greet this state-of-the-art ship and its guests, get a photo and marvel at the sight of its cutting-edge design, and enjoy live music, food trucks and more from 8 - 10 a.m.

The new state-of-the-art Viking Mississippi is inspired by their award-winning ships featuring a clean Scandinavian design. Purpose-built for the Mississippi, the ship’s cutting-edge design, expansive windows and comfortable amenities will make it the first truly modern cruise ship in the region.

In addition to Minnesota, Viking’s new Mississippi River itineraries include six additional states. Ports of call in call include Louisiana (Baton Rouge, Darrow, New Orleans and St. Francisville); Mississippi (Natchez and Vicksburg); Tennessee (Memphis); Missouri (Hannibal, St. Louis); Iowa (Burlington, Dubuque and Quad Cities) and Wisconsin (La Crosse).
View the ship from Lower Landing Park or locations upstream or downstream from the dock. There will be some lane closures and restricted areas, but security will be onsite while the ship is in port and available for assistance.
