Dubai Safari Park
Recently renovated to offer even more exceptional experiences, the 119-hectare wildlife sanctuary in Dubai is home to nearly 3,000 animals from all over the world. The eco-friendly Dubai Safari Park, which is primarily powered by solar energy, now aims to be one of the top 10 zoos in the world, thanks to its commitment to animal conservation, protection and education.
Embark on a safari expedition and explore different ‘villages’ across the zoo, including the Arabian, Asian, African and Explorer Village. The park features 15 species of carnivores alone, alongside an array of primates, reptiles, birds and amphibians.
What to expect at Dubai Safari Park
Highlights include a ‘behind the scenes’ experience, interactive activities such as feeding giraffes or elephants, live shows like one that puts on display the excellent hunting and flying tactics of birds of prey, and a dedicated Kids Farm for little ones to keep discovering. Those wanting a break can step into the Wadi area, where they can sit down to a meal at the onsite restaurants or enjoy a picnic and take in the scenic and exotic sights around.
In 2022, Dubai Safari Park began an animal exchange programme with The Green Planet – the initiative fosters conservation-focused breeding and the sharing of animal welfare information while allowing many fascinating creatures to safely explore a new home.
