Mindful Meditation to Foster an Open Mind

It's human nature to gravitate toward the experiences in our lives that bring us joy and block out the ones that feel less than. But as complex beings, we are more than capable of holding space for multiple emotions at a time. There's plenty of room for the bittersweet.

The next time you feel conflicting emotions—moving to a new town and parting with your old community, landing a new role and saying goodbye to your colleagues, or going on a much-needed vacation while leaving your pup or child behind—make room for them all. Find openness in whatever shows up through this meditation and as you go through your daily routine.
