Celine Dion was forced to postpone the European leg of her “Courage” tour yet again as she continues to slowly recover from a health setback.

The singer shared a video with her fans on Instagram Friday in which she broke the unfortunate news that the 2022 European dates that were set to begin in May will have to be rescheduled to February 2023, while a few other dates have been cancelled altogether. “Well, here we are again, and I’m so sorry we have to change our tour plans for Europe one more time,” she began her video. “First we had to move the shows because of the pandemic, now this is my health issues that is causing us to postpone some shows, and unfortunately we have to cancel some, too.”

But she added that the “good news” is she's finally “doing a little bit better." She explained, “It’s going very slow and it’s very frustrating for me. I’m getting treatment from my doctors, taking medication, but I’m still experiencing some spasms, and it’s taking a lot longer for me to recover than I had hoped.” She also wants to make sure she's in “top shape” for her performances before she begins touring again, and unfortunately is “just not there yet.” Dion concluded, “I'm just telling you how I feel and I wanted you to know that I’m sorry for this news. I know you’ve all waited so long for the concerts, and I appreciate your loyalty…All I can say is that I’m doing my very best to get back to the level that I need to be so that I can give 100 percent at my shows because that’s what you deserve.”

The “My Heart Will Go On” singer first embarked on this tour back in September 2019, but had to cancel shortly after due to the coronavirus pandemic. In January 2022, two months before she was set to relaunch the show, Dion canceled the remaining North America dates again due to her health. Her team confirmed at the time that she was receiving treatment for “severe and persistent muscle spasms which are preventing her from performing, and her recovery is taking longer than she hoped.” Dion added in a tweet, “I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing.”
