Valeo Thailand hosts a number of activities, including Valeo Service ASEAN, which introduces an average of 1,000 new aftermarket references every year.
Profile
Valeo’s history in Thailand started in 1974, with 1 main location providing Thermal System solutions. After the success of this plant, in 1996 Valeo expanded with another site in Rayong, which also manufactured Thermal Systems solutions.
As the Group kept expanding, Valeo successfully opened 2 production sites in Chonburi in 2006, providing Thermal and Comfort and Driving Assistance systems.
The most recent facility, which opened in 2011 and is based in Rayong, manufactures innovative Visibility Systems. Initially an engineering office focused on Thermal Systems, in 1996 the factory evolved into a Research and Development Center to improve customer satisfaction.
In 2019, the activity of Valeo was extended with the development of Powertrain Systems to minimize power consumption and weight reduction.
Chonburi (Valeo Siam Thermal Systems) is an important Research and Development center for Valeo for condenser, evaporator and heater-core projects. It was here that the Evaporator and Heater Core was developed and began its journey to worldwide dominance with a premium Thailand customer, which is one of many Valeo’s milestones.
