Heading down the aisle? Kate Bosworth and Justin Long are sparking engagement speculation after she rocked a giant diamond ring on her left hand at the Vanity Fair Oscars party on Sunday, March 12.
Bosworth, 40, and Long, 44, were all smiles as they posed for pics. In some snaps, the He’s Just Not That Into You actor (rocking a classic black suit) held the Blue Crush star, who stunned in a Monique Lhuillier dress, close as she rested her hand on his chest, subsequently showing off the rock.
The twosome have yet to publicly comment on rumors that they are taking the next step in their relationship. Us Weekly confirmed in January 2022 that Bosworth and Long had started dating after working together on the movie House of Darkness in 2021.
“They’ve been dating for a few months now. They secretly have been on a few getaways together. They both love to travel,” an insider told Us at the time, adding that the duo are “just staying low-key and private about their relationship.”
Bosworth and Long have slowly started to be more public about their romance, with the Accepted star revealing in April 2022 that he feels like he found “The One.”
“It’s weird. I want to [talk about it], but I also want to be protective,” he said on the “Viall Files” podcast. “I want to scream it from the rooftops, but I also want to be protective. It’s sacred. … I’m so happy.”
The actress, meanwhile, gave her beau credit for helping her find “peace” after her divorce from Michael Polish.
“You were born today and the world lit up brighter than it had known,” Bosworth gushed via Instagram in June 2022. “Years later you met a girl who’s life was disassembled / rearranged but you were patient and with time she fell in love now she has a glow (one that was forgotten long ago). She is so grateful *more than you’ll ever know. You make me smile so big my face hurts. Thank you for creating peace in my heart since the day we met.”
In the comments section, Long replied: “Loving you is easily the best gift I’ve ever received. (I’m going to tell you this in person as soon as I walk out of the bathroom ;).”
Bosworth and Polish announced their breakup in August 2021, filing for divorce the following July.
“Our hearts are full, as we have never been so enamored and deeply grateful for one another as we do in this decision to separate,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Together, over the last ten years, Michael and I have chosen love, every time. We hold hands as tightly today as we entangled fingers on our wedding day.”
Long, for his part, has never been married, but has been linked to Drew Barrymore and Amanda Seyfried in the past.
