Born August 24, 1988, the red-headed English actor is now best known as Ron Weasley in the wildly popular Harry Potter film franchise. To audition for the role, Grint submitted a homemade rap video. He participated in the 2022 cast reunion, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Sorcerer’s Stone.

In addition to his work in the Potter films, Grint has been featured on the big screen in Thunderpants, Driving Lessons (opposite Laura Linney), Cherrybomb and Wild Target. He has starred on M. Night Shyamalan’s TV show, titled Servant, for four seasons from 2019 to 2023. Grint returned to the big screen in 2023’s Knock at the Cabin.

He welcomed his first child, daughter Wednesday G. Grint, with longtime partner Georgia Groome in May 2020.
