The daughter of businessman Rande Gerber and supermodel Cindy Crawford was born in Los Angeles on September 3, 2001. She landed her first modeling gig with Versace Young at the age of 10 and made her acting debut in the movie Sister Cities five years later.
Kaia has appeared in campaigns for Versace, Calvin Klein, Marc Jacobs and Omega. She has also covered Vogue Paris and walked in fashion shows for Burberry, Alexander Wang, Coach, Prada, Chanel and Fendi.
Kaia dated Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson from October 2019 to January 2020. She was first linked to Jacob Elordi in September 2020, but Us Weekly confirmed in November 2021 that they called it quits. The model started dating actor Austin Butler in December 2021. News broke in January 2025 that Kaia and Butler called it quits over the holidays.
