Jenna Bush Hager
Jenna Bush Hager is a journalist, author and cohost of Today with Hoda & Jenna on NBC. The daughter of former President George W. Bush and First Lady Laura Bush, Bush Hager has become a prominent figure in television, known for her commentary and interviews.
Before joining Today, Bush Hager worked as a teacher’s aide in Washington, D.C., and as editor-at-large for Southern Living magazine. Her NBC career officially took off in 2009 when she became a correspondent for Today. Over the years, Bush Hager has covered a wide array of stories, from inspiring human interest pieces to major national events.
Following Kathie Lee Gifford‘s exit, Bush began coanchoring the fourth hour of Today with Hoda Kotb in April 2019, one month after launching her Read With Jenna book club on the show. Kotb announced her own exit five years later, and Bush Hager will have a new cohost in 2025.
In addition to her work on television, Bush Hager has authored several books, including Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope and Everything Beautiful in Its Time, the latter of which reflects on her family’s experiences and the loss of her grandfather, former president George H.W. Bush.
Bush Hager has been married to Henry Chase Hager since 2008, and they share three children, daughters Mila (born April 2013) and Poppy (born August 2015) and son Hal (born August 2019).
