The Chicago Fire (4-5-4) hosts New York City FC (4-1-6) Saturday at 3:30 p.m. Eastern at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill.

The two Eastern Conference opponents occupy ninth and sixth place, respectively, but NYC FC has two matches in hand.

New York City will be without M Ebenezer Ofori (core injury) for Saturday's match. D Ben Sweat remains questionable due to an adductor issue.

Fire M Nico Gaitan (thigh injury) will be sidelined Saturday. D Andre Reynolds II (thigh) and M Raheem Edwards (knee) are questionable for the match.
