Norwich confirm Adams as permanent manager

AP

Neil Adams was appointed as Norwich's new manager on a three-year deal on Thursday.

The former Norwich player took charge of the team in a caretaker role for the last five games of the season after Chris Hughton was sacked, but could not prevent the club from being demoted to the second division.

"The priority is to ensure that attacking, attractive and winning football is once again the norm for supporters of this club, and I can assure everyone that we will all be working as hard as possible to achieve our objective of returning this club back to where it belongs," Adams said.

Adams joined Norwich in February 1994, and scored 30 goals in 206 appearances.
