Oklahoma St. signs forward from Virginia academy

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State basketball coach Travis Ford has announced the signing of a 6-foot-6 forward from Fork Union Military Academy in Virginia.

Ford says Tavarius Shine signed a National Letter of Intent to play at OSU.

Shine says he was also recruited by Michigan, Tennessee, Wichita State, Tulsa, Houston, Rhode Island, Rutgers, Old Dominion, Utah State and Richmond. He attended Fork Union after graduating from MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas.
