Heitkamp goes to see Trump accompanied by Naked Cowboy

There were a lot of reasons Sen. Heidi Heitkamp’s meeting with Donald Trump Friday was noteworthy, but it’s video of who she took the elevator up with that’s going viral.

Heitkamp, who is a moderate Democrat from North Dakota, played along.

It is not clear where the Naked Cowboy was headed but he has been a fixture in the Trump Tower lobby during the transition.

Heitkamp is the third Democrat to meet with Trump at the initiation of the president-elect. She’s been mentioned as a possible pick for Energy or Agriculture secretary.
