I Love Lucy Christmas Special

CBS, Friday, 8 ET/PT

CBS celebrates the holidays with the 'I Love Lucy Christmas Special.'

This CBS special combines two colorized episodes: The Christmas Episode and Lucy Gets in Pictures. I don't understand the need or the appeal of colorization, but if it brings a new audience to this TV classic, I'll try to live with it.

Westworld
HBO, Sunday, 9 ET/PT

HBO’s sprawling sci-fi drama ends its season with a 90-minute finale that may answer some of its many questions — even for fans who think they already have the puzzle solved. Those are the viewers who have been watching Westworld as if it were a treasure hunt and there were a prize for getting to the end first — which may be fitting for a show that is, in part, about the efforts of the park’s guests  and "hosts" to wrest control of their stories from the storyteller. That’s fine if that’s how you enjoy viewing, but don’t be forced into that model just because it is the Internet’s current favorite. It is also still alright to let the story unfold in its own time. Your home, your TV, your choice.

Secrets and Lies
ABC, Sunday, 9 ET/PT

Westworld isn’t the only mystery ending. Secrets also wraps up its second season, though the real mystery here is why it didn’t end after the first.
