Is Bon Iver releasing a new album tonight?

Justin, where's the album?

After Frank Ocean's no-call no-show last week, our hearts are generally hardened to rumors of surprise album releases.

But new Bon Iver music seems imminent, as Justin Vernon's band takes the stage tonight at Eaux Claires, the Wisconsin music festival he co-curated.

Back in June, Vernon tweeted (from possibly the best celebrity Twitter handle, @blobtower) that fans could expect to hear new Bon Iver music during his set.

Last month, the band's YouTube page posted a 22-second video of strange imagery, titled #22days.

In the weeks leading up to the festival, Bon Iver murals have also appeared in cities around the world — including Vernon's Wisconsin hometown of Eau Claire — teasing more mysterious imagery that may or may not be album art.

Similar images were also posted to the band's social media accounts this week, their Instagram's bio now also reading "#22days."

Will Vernon simply introduce fans to new material — the band's first since their 2011 self-titled album — at the festival, or is a surprise album also in store for the night? And is it titled 22 Days? By Saturday morning, we'll know for sure.

But in the meantime, all of Vernon's bearded lumberjack brethren are still waiting.
