Nicole Richie's little sister opens up about her famous big sis

Sure, you've heard of Nicole Richie. But what about Sofia Richie?

She's 16, the daughter of Lionel and the little sister to Nicole.

And now she's opened up to Elle magazine on what it's like being part of such a famous family.

Some highlights from the interview:

On what it is like to grow up with Nicole Richie as your big sister:

"I don’t feel like we’ll ever be equals. Nicole will always give me guidance as a big sister. She tells me every day that she’s mad that I’m growing up."

On why her dad is more strict with her than he was with Nicole:

"My dad is more strict because of my sister. I feel like now he’s on the preventative side—it’s not like I’m doing anything bad, but he went through all that with Nicole, so he’s just strict to prevent it from happening again."

On Nicole Richie as a big sister and mom:

“Nicole has always been kind of strict, too. Not in a mean way, but she definitely has that curfew mentality —she’s a smart mom.”

On famous friendships (she was recently snapped shopping with Kendall and Kylie Jenner):

"I don't think I could ever do runway (like Kendall)," she says. "I definitely envy her. I think she's so dope for going that route.”
