CMT Awards 2019: Carrie Underwood widens winningest artist lead even more with best video

With her wins for female video of the year and video of the year at the 2019 CMT Music Awards, Carrie Underwood has extended her lead as the winner of the most awards in the show's history. 

According to the Associated Press, “Love Wins” earned Underwood her 19th and 20th win. 

She took the stage at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night, lauding the first award of the night as a birthday gift for her husband, former Nashville Predator Mike Fisher.

The country star will give a free performance from the steps of the Parthenon in Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee, as a part of the CMT Awards on Wednesday night.

The country star was nominated alongside Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Kelsea Ballerini, Keith Urban and Julia Michaels.
