Redskins fan celebrates win by tackling Christmas tree (VIDEO)

Chris Chase, USA TODAY Sports
Washington Redskins, 10-6, A: Despite a salary cap penalty and season-ending injuries
to two of their best defensive players, the Redskins won the NFC East for the
first time since 1999. It's been a laboring turnaround for Mike Shanahan, who
has the roster set for depth, if not starpower. Rookie running back Alfred
Morris is the late-round steal of the 2012 draft, and everything Washington
gave up for Robert Griffin III was worth it, provided they can keep him from
destroying himself. (All NFC grades by Robert Klemko)

For only the fourth time since Joe Gibbs retired the first time, Washington Redskins fans can celebrate a playoff berth. Some cheered. Some cried. Some texted all their friends in celebration. Some posted feelings of glee on Facebook. Some chanted "RGIII." Some, as far away as Los Angeles, took part in mass sing-alongs of Hail to the Redskins. Some mock-micturated on the Dallas Cowboys star. And one gentleman was so happy he tackled his Christmas tree.

Watch as the "extreme Redskins fan" wearing a No. 44 John Riggins jersey jumps onto his tree and tackles it to celebrate Washington's 28-18 win over the Dallas Cowboys.

If that tree had thrown multiple interceptions earlier in the night, it'd be a dead ringer for Tony Romo.

To each their own. I can't throw stones at this guy, not when I celebrated the win by slapping high-fives so hard I think I dislocated my thumb.
