University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Top 5 Campaign Priorities
Scholarships and Graduate Student Support
UNL is committed to investing in its students as a top priority of the campaign. That includes substantially increasing the availability of need-based and merit-based scholarships for undergraduate students and providing competitive fellowships and assistantships for talented graduate students.
Endowed Faculty Support: Chairs and Professorships
Faculty members play the most critical role in the success of UNL’s students and overall research and engagement enterprise. Funding for endowed chairs, professorships and recruitment will support top faculty and innovative research.
College of Engineering and School of Computing
UNL aims to address the state’s severe shortage of engineers and computer scientists by investing in Kiewit Hall and creating a dedicated home for the School of Computing. It also supports the newly established Kiewit Scholars, a full-tuition scholarship and cohort for exceptional engineering students.
World-Class Arts Educational Experiences
By providing a new studio theater, enhanced guest entrance and renovated guest facilities, this campaign will expand the Lied Center for Performing Arts’ positive impact on the community and provide a new “wow” experience at Nebraska’s home for the arts.
Athletics Facilities, Student-Athlete Experience and Support
UNL is committed to offering excellence to student-athletes. The GO BIG Training and Student Support Facility will include a new locker room, strength complex, athletic medicine area, equipment room, meeting spaces for football student-athletes, and a new training table and academic and life skills center for all student-athletes.
