Click here to see what is included for your event space. Access to the space for a pre-determined amount of time. Access times vary from wedding-to-wedding. Once you have booked your event, you will be assigned a venue coordinator. They will be your main point of contact at Union Depot for your wedding! Your coordinator will help you with designing a layout, scheduling security, obtaining event insurance, pre-purchasing any parking validations, coordinating with vendors and answering any venue questions you have. Who provides room set-up of tables, chairs and other items? All Union Depot-provided room amenities, including furniture and equipment, will be be preset for your event. Any additional setup needs would be provided by one of our preferred vendors. You may reach out directly to the vendors for pricing estimates. You may use your choice of florist, DJ or bakery produced by a licensed bakery or commercial kitchen. Union Depot has some staging you may rent for an additional nominal fee. Can we choose our own caterer? Union Depot offers catering exclusively through Lake Elmo Inn who is contracted to provide catering and bar service in our unique event spaces. Click here to learn more. For specific ethnic or religious exceptions, please contact the Union Depot event staff. Who provides alcohol and bar services? Lake Elmo Inn, our exclusive food caterer, is who you will use for bar services. Are there food and beverage minimums? Union Depot does not have food and beverage minimums. Please inquire with Lake Elmo Inn for more information. Do we need to hire security for our event? Security is required for all Waiting Room events, and security may be required for other room rentals. Security fees are not included in the room rental fees. Is there parking available? Union Depot has four large accessible parking lots with affordable rates and can offer pre-paid parking validations for a small additional fee. Do I need to have event insurance? Yes, we require all clients to provide a certificate of insurance (COI) for their event. For weddings & social events, Union Depot provides an insurance partner to obtain the certificate. Are there hotels nearby? Yes, the Hyatt & Intercontinental Hotel are both nearby and easy to get to. Are there any other fees that may be associated with my event rental?
