Great minds don't think alike
Diversity makes us stronger
Great minds don't think alike. That's why we seek out diversity. Diversity of ideas. Identity. Ethnicity. Experience. Education. The more diverse we become, the more we can adapt and ultimately achieve our mission. When we reflect the incredible diversity of the people who connect on our platform, we make better decisions that benefit the world.
By making gradual and sustainable changes over time, Uber has rebuilt the foundation from the bottom up and completely reshaped our culture. Five years later, we are already seeing how diversity is making us stronger and enabling us to create a more equitable and inclusive environment to move the world for the better.
“We want people who are inspired by our mission and share our values to join us, so they can do the best work of their career and truly have an impact on the world. But it’s not enough to have a compelling mission and strong values on a page—those have to come to life in our employees’ day-to-day experience. We’re working across our organization to make sure that employees experience our values at every step of their journey.”
Nikki Krishnamurthy, Chief People Officer
