Jimme’s big adventure
The day my outside pet decided she wanted to see what it’s like to be an indoor pet. I could not stop laughing as she flew around my studio checking it all out and even picking out a spot on top of a bookshelf as her next home. I’ve been feeding her since she was a baby, she knows her name, come when I call and jumps up in front of the window to get my attention when she’s hungry. I would normally photograph all the birds through the screen but she’s the only one that will sit in the window with the screen open to let me feed and photograph her. I would always ask her if she wants to come inside and she take a few steps in and goes back to eating. Well yesterday she got spooked by some pigeons and ran in behind my work table and then jumped onto the top of one my computer monitors. My first thought was to close the studio door so I wouldn’t have to chase her. She flew back and forth while I worked and eventually flew out the window. I figured she’s freaked and will never come back, nope, within 5 minutes she was jumping up and down in front of the window waiting for more food.
